• Purchase for yourself or for resale;

• Maximum allowable price of the car, taking into account all possible expenses.

• A minimum budget for a car - PLN 25 000, for a motorbike - PLN 10,000;
• During a personal visit or telephone consultation, we select the features of the chosen make and model (including the manufacture year, mileage, features, type of damage, and budget);
• We check the price statistics of the selected car and give an approximate estimate of its value in Poland;
• We look for several variants and inform you about them. In case you are determined to bid then we proceed to step 2.

IMPORTANT! We always check the car’s history before buying it.

Once you and your GVDrive specialist have agreed on a specific list of features of your desired car, including the maximum allowable price at auction, the GVDrive specialist will select suitable cars that can be purchased at a favourable price.

• Each car is checked before purchase.

• IAAI and Copart - auctions with offers from insurers (items after theft, accident or flooding of varying degrees)
• Manheim - used car auction (cars with a mileage of 1 km or more).

• With an odometer rollback;
• Overpriced;
• With hidden damages;
• Drowned;

• With no export license from the USA;
• That used to be stolen (or write: theft-recovered cars)
• With damage to load-bearing body parts;
• Repaired after serious accidents.

In addition, the car is checked by a specialist who conducts a detailed inspection and produces a report on the current condition.

• Deposit - 4000 PLN (brutto)
  • This is not an additional expense, the deposit is intended as a future payment for the item.

  In order to bid at an auction you must pay a refundable deposit- this is a mandatory requirement of the auction and applies to every car. In this way, the auction has security in case you successfully negotiate the car but for some reason do not pay for it by the agreed date, in which case the auction management will retain the deposit to cover the costs of organising repeated auctions of that car. If you pay for the car, the amount of the deposit is taken into account when paying for the auctioned car and does not add to the cost.

  • The deposit does not oblige you to conclude a transaction at the auction, it can be refunded in the event of cancellation or if you succeed in negotiating the desired price for the chosen car.
• Auction commission

  Here, everything is straightforward - it is payment for auction services consisting of organising auctions and delivering cars. The auction sets different commissions for private clients and dealers, which is due to the different number of cars purchased and other matters that have to be dealt with by the auction staff.

The bidding date and time for each car is always known in advance and the car bidding process takes an average of 2 minutes. All the details of the bid are agreed in advance, including the key factor - the maximum acceptable price you are willing to pay for a particular car.

The bidding is carried out independently by GVDrive specialists, but you can also take part in the bidding in person, this can be done in our office or remotely via video communication. During the bidding process, you can make changes, for example, decide to increase your bid if the maximum agreed price is reached.

After you have selected a car, participated in, and won the auction, you receive an invoice. The next step is timely payment, after which you can collect your car.

• Delivery payment is made immediately after the purchase of the car in the auction. Late payment may result in delays in the delivery and fines to the auction (for extra parking, etc.);
• The average delivery time of a car from the USA to Poland is 2 months;
• We insure each car, free of charge, for the time of transport against partial and total damage en route.

1. Delivery from the auction to a port city in the USA.

   Once you have purchased your car at auction, it is shipped to the port of origin for loading onto the ship. At this stage you receive additional photos of your car. The queue for loading takes an average of 2 weeks and depends on various factors including the season.

2. Delivery from the USA to an EU sea port and to Poland.

   For the most favourable option of getting the car through customs, it is delivered to one of three sea ports in the EU for subsequent shipment to Poland.

3. Car tracking on board.
